Our story

Vegan, gluten and allergen free snacking – the family way! We are two cousins, Surinder and Sharon, who have grown up together and have a shared love of food. We are always drawing on our Indian heritage to make the tastiest snacks and meals.

However, we both experience food allergies and find it difficult to find snacks that are both gluten free but also do not contain nuts. So, we started to meet up in each other’s kitchens and work on snacks that our mums have always made for us, but modifying them to reduce the allergens.
We cracked it – healthy and delicious snacks – Hiya was born!
