Healthy snack bars

Our handmade, Indian-inspired snack bar is made from a traditional family recipe – “panjiri”. Panjiri is an Indian/Punjabi delicacy that is known for its distinctive and rich flavours, texture and taste. It is a recipe that our mothers used, to prepare wholesome, nutritious snacks for us as children. Hiya means “from the heart” in Sanskrit and that’s exactly our philosophy.

Unique Indian-inspired taste

Our bars have moved away from other bars, which deliver a conventional fruit and oat based offering, often containing nuts, to a product packed with delicious and nutritious ingredients with the richness of our Indian-inspired flavours.
HIYA bars are full of flaxseeds, melon and poppy seeds, chickpeas, coconut oil, dates and a little jaggery, which is unrefined Indian sugar. Our exciting flavours are inspired by Indian spices – fennel, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and cacao (a cheeky addition because we all love chocolate!).

Positive Nutrition & Free From

HIYA bars are all natural, full of goodness for your gut and have very few ingredients, which reinforces how they are “better for you”. Our bars are vegan, gluten free and handmade with plenty of love from us to you.
There are no unrefined sugars, additives or preservatives, no palm oil and we have not included any of the top 14 allergens as ingredients.
They have a high content of natural fibre and plant protein too, which is a great way to keep you going between meals or after exercising and they certainly satisfy your snacking desires.
So, Hiya equals a healthy snack bar that is vegan, gluten free, high fibre, low GI, a source of protein and delicious tasting!!

We have recently had stalls at a number of Surrey Vegan Markets and the feedback has been fantastic – why not give us a try?
